Reality and fantasy meet in a magical place called Thimbleprims Studio. The Studio is located in a huge old house on a rambling, ancient estate. It is home to many wonderful characters and creatures who happen to be dolls. As the days and weeks pass, I will be introducing you to some of them, as well as sharing the creation of individual dolls with you.
Unbeknownst to most there exists a magical place within the lush woodlands of Maryland. If you were to go looking in just the right place at just the right time, and, very important, if you were just the right person, you would find a quaint old fashioned village existing side by side with the modern world. The village is called Dyrnwch. It is a pretty place and it is there that Thimbleprims Studio has its home. Thimbleprims Studio is located on a rambling, ancient estate. It is so ancient that no one around these parts really knows just what its age is. It seems as if it has always been here, at least as far as Dyrnwch's oldest residents will tell you. The house is large and old and is much larger inside than its outside would suggest. Odd shaped rooms lead into other rooms. Long musty corridors and interesting curving stone staircases provide many hours of enjoyable exploring. I'm not sure that I've seen every nook and cranny in the house and I've been here a long time. Thimbleprims Studio is home to many wonderful characters and creatures who happen to be dolls. And, as the days and weeks pass, I will be introducing you to some of them, as well as sharing the creation of individual dolls with you.
Hello again, This picture isn't that great but I wanted to show you another ornament I finished. This one is going into the pkg. of another swap I'm involved in. It looks a lot better in person.
Hey there, all, Is there anyone out there (besides Deborah of vintagesoul) who makes vintage style ornaments and who would be willing to get involved in the swap at this late date? I would need them pretty quickly. Please let me know, Cindy thimbleprims@xecu.net
Hey there! I hope everyone is having a lovely evening. Here are pictures of two of the ornaments I've been making recently. These two are for the ornament swap. I would love to hear what you think of my Victorian style seahorses! Cindy
